It's easily restored back whenever you please though. It does not know you are there. I had a lot of fun with the game going duel swordsman with a lot of points into adaptability or whatever that silly Stat is that determines iframes. If you mange to kill the Master in Firelink Shrine, for example, you'll get his samurai sword. The way they did the Soul Memory stuff especially in PvP was annoying. I also always carried a backup staff, just in case my main went at risk. Really added replay value and was a good source to farm souls when you were stuck.

This ring increases sorcery damage by 20% -- and unlike the aforementioned ring, there's no damage penalty for utilizing it, making it rather crucial. They open up entire universes of possibilities. The Balder sword was pretty weak though even with a short lasting enchant, and I was so used to meleeing and circle strafing rather than dodging that I sometimes forgot or just didn't use my sorceries. If you're up for an even bigger challenge but you want to custom-build your character, go with Deprived. So now iam in sen fortress at middle of step 3 of this guide and its quite difficult.
Even the weakest rats in a pack can ruin your day. If you find that your weapon of choice likes certain attributes, then you now know what to level up. At the end of the stairs will be a pit that should now be full of boulders, and a hole on the opposite wall. You can find one in the Lost Bastile. If you're a Sorcerer, you can begin the fight from a dozen yards away, and this holds true dozens of hours later.
Its forward R1 attack replaces the kick with a shield breaking thrust that also jumps you back and gives you a perfect chance to swap out to casting. It's telling that in PvP, even most casters wear heavy gear. Most classes start in the range of about level 8, with one notable exception. Now get your Int to 40 then 30 Attunement. Many also have a strength requirement; check this before purchase. Only had that happen once but I used my backup a lot on the mobs so my main wouldn't break down in boss fights.
High dexterity allows masterful welding of dual scimitars. With so many spells flying around, the clorantrhy ring keeping stam-regen for rolls and casts and a decent endurance pool the worst thing that could happen is you could run out of spells. Unfortunately not in a good way, I just find it annoying. Then go past heide to wharf and get old mans soul arrow spells. That I was born with two arms, and yet, only held one greatsword. Even as a mage you will likely need a decent melee weapon and this one is insane. Almost without fail, if you use the same strategy against the same enemies in the same areas, you'll get the same results. Directly behind it is a man who will gift you an amazing staff Sunset Staff if you have 20 Intelligence and 20 Faith. Warp back to forked road. Using these souls I would recommend buying the first.
