Obviously this can be a safety issue if you do not know your actual speed. No use of oil gauge. The failure mileage was 90,000. Verify that there is a battery charge of 12 to 16 volts. The manufacturer was later contacted and advised the warranty was extended past 70,000 to 80,000 miles however, the contact's vehicle had very recently passed 80,000 miles.

While driving 50 mph, the speedometer froze and displayed 75 mph. She received a letter that stated there was a defect in the vehicle. It seems that this is a very common malfunction. Now when I drive the vehicle I am either go no speed at all or the speed odometer starts going crazy or gets stuck at 40mph. A Google search should provide some answers. You will find a fuse puller in the fuse box next to the driver side door.
