This is where the car feels every bump and seems to react side to side rather than up and down. Do the Rancho ones ride rougher, softer, or the same?. I wanted them at the time I was replacing but they were constantly out of stock and I really wanted to get my shocks replaced since they were toast, ~69k miles on factory shocks wasn't sit good with me. Great ride initially, font struts replaced 3 times for leaking since 50k and ride quality horrible. Hopefully someone else can get a complete number for the rears. I absolutely love the truck, it's great, and other Chevy owners seem super nice so far! Entry level shocks or the originals from the factory will not last nearly as long as a high end, more expensive shock like Bilstein. These Gabriel ultra shocks made a great improvement. How is your steering response? In the long run, not replacing worn shocks will increase the wear on your car or truck, and end up costing you more money. I'd go with Rancho's as the quality will be around the same, and the price will go in favor of Rancho's. If you had to put a number on it, many professionals recommend changing out your factory shocks around 50,000 miles. If it were me, I would go with the Rancho's. Both fronts are loose so i just pulled one off to take a pic of it. Is your truck swaying more than it used to? If your vehicle has any of these problems it may be time to replace your shocks. This number can vary greatly with variables like the kind of driving you do and the condition of the roads in your town.
